Arriving to Thriving Book Cover

This book is a start to finish guide for business success. Typography was very important to this design to catch reader’s eye and give a professional and modern feel. “Thriving” needed to be noticed before “arriving.” The two different colored “shadows” behind the man represent the beginning stage and the ending successful stage. I wanted the “shadow” figures to stand out on the page through use of bright cool colors that were pleasing to the eye and didn’t inflict a strong emotion like red would have. I used a spatter brush behind the man to give extra depth to the design. I focused the brush strength on the bottom of the cover and not the top so that the title area wasn’t busy and difficult to read.
