Notre Dame 2015 Shamrock Series Concept

Logo concept is based on the 1918 Boston Red Sox World Series plaque at Fenway Park.
• Mimic the shape on the existing plaque, subtly emphasize the shape of a baseball.
• Use the bottom oval in logo to create a football and an area to place the ND logo.
• The font selection for “Shamrock” is something similar to the “Red Sox” typeface, to reinforce the Fenway Park influence. Continue to use the existing shamrock placed in the type treatment as has been done in previous logos.
• The word “Series” also doubles as the laces on the football.
