Almenu - Redesign SaaS Product

Restaurants don't have to hand out menus to customers with books or paper, now we can simply put a QR code on the counter, receptionist, or anywhere else. So customers just scan with their cellphones and directly order food via smartphone. In fact, customers can also book a table using just their phone :)

How could all of this be possible? With Almenu, restaurants or coffee shops can create digital menus. You don't need to install the app, just use your browser and go to Almenu.io

A few months ago, I was working on a SaaS product called Almenu. This product will allow us to create digital menus and export QR codes so that they can be displayed anywhere we want in the restaurant. In this project, I as a Product Designer tried to help them to redesign the product. The most important thing I consider is How to minimize the stress of restaurant owners in creating or adding new menus.

In their old product, there are a lot of steps in the process of adding new menus. I also tried to divide the process into several stages. In UX this is known as Hick's Law. The more choices you present your users with, the longer it will take them to reach a decision. Hick's Law states that users spend more time making a decision based on the number and complexity of choices.

In addition, the process that I like in this project is documenting each component as a library in an organization, or creating a design system.

Now Almenu is fully developed, and I'm so glad to share it with you to open https://almenu.io

Calling all of the restaurant owners to try to create a digital menu with Almenu.io!
