Years ago, I was lucky enough to get married to a wonderful woman named Bonita. I was in charge of making the website and managing the invitations so naturally, I took the opportunity to make some illustrations! These were mostly for the website, (see below) but we also printed some coasters for the big day so no one would forget who was getting married.

I used a flat vector style with some simple patterns that worked well. It was a fun little project to put together, and it came together pretty quickly in the end. I tried to keep the color palette super simple, and had a lot of fun with the mini icon set.

I also took it as an opportunity to try out Wix, which as a simple tool worked really well. The drag-and-drop aspects were super user-friendly. However, its limited responsiveness was not ideal. For a limited time, free site Wix did it's job well though.
