Avatar Creator 2.0 Process

I'm working on some concepts for the second version of the Vector Mill Avatar Creator. I get asked a bunch what is my process and if I sketch or work directly in Illustrator. I prefer to sketch first but sometimes I just get right into Illustrator. Here is an example of an illustration's process. Might seem like a bunch of different steps but they are all pretty quick changes.
