Caprock High 50th Anniversary

I was contacted by a couple old classmates and friends, to develop an identity for the upcoming CHS (Caprock Helping Students) Program. Which most of us know is a play on CHS for Caprock High School. After talking with one of the organizers of the CHS Alumni Facebook page it was mentioned that it was Caprock's 50th Anniversary and I could not resist this project.

For me this is a special project as I spent many a night in the drafting and design labs with several classmates getting prepared for the state competitions. I approached this with my favorite aspect of the school's architecture, the CHS Auditorium. The bright orange beacon that reminded you every morning that you were at the "Rock".
