Morfeo - Luxury Hotel

My process: when researching the hotel name I wanted something classic but also different than usual and something that could be related obviously to what I was designing the logo for. Morpheus in Greek mythology is the god of dreams, son of Hypnos, god of sleep and grandson of Night, primordial deity. In Greek Morpheus is derived from the word "form" because he was said to take the shapes and characteristics of dreams.

The font for the logotype is New York, while for the description I used Niveau Grotesk.

For the logo I decided to draw a poppy, a symbol of Morpheus himself used by the latter to give sleepers realistic illusions (dreams).
