Hygge Portfolio: Development-Ready Layers

At this point in the project, it was time to organize my portfolio site’s PSD and get it ready for development. Taking a critical look at my finished design, I made sure that all the details are exactly how I wanted them before I packaged my files up. After that, I looked my layers over and determined that they were as well-organized as my design. 

First, I deleted layers that were empty, hidden, duplicates, or no longer in use. Next, I named all my layers in a way that made sense to anyone who would be using the file. I also made sure that each design element has its own layer. Finally, I organized the layers into logical folder groups.
