Animations in UI design are more than just a decoration. They indicate users' success, guide on what to do next, show the hierarchy of elements and make the interface look more responsive. And animated home screens, loading screens, and error pages add a nice human touch that helps release user frustration and reduce cognitive load.
The latter is why we decided to animate the home screen for our Sakura tracking app. It’s an optional solution but creates a stronger brand image along with other UI elements. And a good, charismatic brand, means more successful monetization — even if your app is as simple and goofy as a Sakura bloom tracker for tourists.
