Jacob Rolls - Branding

Logo and color palette for Jacob Rolls - a small shop that sells all kinds of cinnamon rolls, in need of fancy branding. Created for an Instagram challenge by brand.brief.

For this logo, the chosen font was slightly changed - the inside of the O resembling a roll was custom-made, the top of both L's was also rearranged to shape the white space as if it was the shadow of a roll on JacOb. Since the letter O changed so much, it became distinguish enough to be used as the brand submark. The colors were chosen based on product colors (yellow for the cake and redish brown for the cinnamon part), with foil texture when possible to look more premium and golden.
