8chili - Reimagine Reality
Overview
'8chili for surgeons' is a virtual reality platform that can be utilized to record, edit & present live surgical procedures for both students and experienced surgeons. The surgeon wears a HintVR headset with high-quality cameras that record everything they see in real life so trainees are able to rewind the procedure, replay it at their own pace, and watch x-rays or other media overlays during the procedure.
Developing skills, absorbing knowledge, innovating ideas…all come together here in an immersive way that's never been before possible.

Residents can browse surgical videos based on the categories, subcategories and surgeons. The content is recommended to the user based on their user search history, interests, and speciality they are currently pursuing.
Create courses and lectures with ease
Surgeons can create lectures and courses, categorise them and add relevant tags that help residents to filter and find the right content while browsing. The platform helps surgeons to create, and continually update their lectures and courses on the go.
Content, earnings and subscription statistics for Surgeons
Surgeons can track their earnings, the number of subscribers they've gained, how many lectures they've uploaded and more. 8chili puts surgeons at ease with a professional interface for total control over their account stats while fulfilling the requirements of their role as educators.
Edit surgical procedures with interactive case descriptions
Surgeons can create a step-by-step recorded guide on how to perform the procedure in great detail. It includes annotations, trajectory planning, and image & video overlays like microscopic feed, x-rays and endoscopic feed.
