Blue Meanie (colour collective - ultramarine)

A bit of Blue Meanie (The Beatles Yellow Submarine) inspired fun! These blue meanies were always a favorite of mine, not to mention the timeless artistry of the Yellow Submarine film.

I was listening to a lot of Beatles this month whenI joined a new weekly color challenge with a bunch of other illustrators. #colour_creative was formed by my friend Penny Neville Lee who chooses a color each week, everyone works on a concept inspired by that color, then posts to twitter at the same time (Friday at 19:30 GMT) some entries roll in a tad later, but the fun is seeing all these concepts from creatives around the globe pour in at the same time.
