Vayu (Sanskrit pronunciation: [ʋaːjʊ], IAST: Vāyu) or Vayu the dual or Vayu demon or Vaybod or Vayu the deity, is a shared deity in both Persian and Hindi cultures. He's the deity of the wind.Vayu has a double face, good and bad, because the wind blows in both good and bad territories. He has a good heart and yet he's able to destroy everything and everyone using his destructive power. In Persian mythology Vayu is the symbol of neutrality and flows in the space between good and bad worlds. He brings death and also gives life. He also sacrifices for both Hormazd and the Devil.
