The shattered grid

EF's iconic design language is making use of something we call 'The Shattered Grid' and it addresses the problem of vertical discoverability on small screens. While 'the fold' is not a problem anymore, it seems that long scrollable pages do require a more 'guiding' pattern.

We carefully study people's behavior when they scroll through information, and have found a way to implement scattered layouts that work wonderfully for navigating people through our pages.
