Dodge Shadow Steering Wheel

I’m starting a new series, #JLFirstLoves, where I draw/talk about the first logos I developed relationships with, thus sparking my early interest in graphic design. 
FIRST: in 1989, my mom got a mid-80s champagne colored Dodge Shadow. I used to sit on her lap in the driver's seat and trace the Dodge logo on the steering wheel with my finger. I've had a healthy obsession with pentagons and stars ever since. We spent a lot of time in the parking lot of Pearle Vision (where my mom worked at the time), hence the background color.
