"Behind the mask" dope illustration

Hello there, MVP Dribbblers,

Almost two years ago, members of the LDD (Librăria de Design - Ro) community participated in a cool creative event, where everyone did their best to visually communicate the following concept: Dincolo de mască - eng. Behind the mask.

Everything was allowed - mixt media at will. For me it all went down to illustration, in that gnarly cartooney style, which is a personal signature dish.

My character is depicted with a trippy and hollow smile, that acts as a coverup for the real negative emotions that we often try to hide. A toxic behavior that only delays the necessity of facing your emotions and communicate them without fear of judgement.

We live in a world where everything seems to aim for perfection, which in itself is just a human construct, displaced from reality. By principle, nature has all sorts of imperfections, flaws that make it truly beautiful.
