You Are Here for a Reason (Superman)

I'm currently working on a piece for a Hero Complex Gallery show where we're asked to work off a lyric or movie quote. I decided to use Pa Kent's line from Superman the movie. In the scene, Clark is upset he can't fit in. And Pa says…

“...there’s one thing I do know, son, and that is you are here for a reason...”

It solidifies how important the Kent's are to the character of Superman and why it's what really makes him Super. My goal is more emotionally driven and I've hit a wall. In the attachments I have two color ways I'm divided on and I could use some feedback.

I just can't make up my mind and I don't want to move forward with final touches until I make up my mind. Little help?
