Goals

  • Enable brands to easily reuse, create, and manage content from Studio CMS

  • Inspire brand fans with rich content

  • Keep fans engaged and up-to-date about new collection drops

Introduction

Brands on the Consumer Apps platform regularly drop new collections. These usually come with big omni-channel campaigns, including photoshoots, ads, video, stories, and much more.

In the Consumer Apps, we have a lot of features to promote these collections. But the problem is that they are separate features, detached from each other, and spread out throughout the app.

The Consumer App is the brands best-performing channel, and it draws the brand's most loyal fans. Therefore, the app should be the central place for promoting new collections, and using the app's power to generate more app downloads by offering exclusive (video) content and promotions.

We came up with a new feature that we would call 'Brand Stories'. This would be one single feature in which brands can plug in all content they create for a campaign.

Concept & Design

The 'Brand Stories' feature is designed to have multiple 'Pages' that can have different types of content. The first version would have the possibility for a background image or video, a CTA button, and text (story).

Feature ideas

The ultimate goals for this feature is to be able to add products directly to a page, possibly with the functionality to directly purchase them with Apple Pay. But also other types of content, like directly inserting image and video lookbooks, for example.
