The Archdiocese of Russian Orthodox Churches in Western Europe
The Archdiocese was founded in 1921. Today it is a multinational
diocese, comprising around 120 parishes and monastic communities
mainly in France, but also in Belgium, the Netherlands, Denmark,
Sweden, Norway, Germany, Italy, Spain, and the United Kindgom.
The responsive logo features the Alexander Nevsky Cathedral in Paris.
The graphic is paired with a Cyrillic typeface that mimics
Orthodox calligraphy, and traditional manuscript ornaments.
For secondary and tertiary typography, I chose a classic
serif typeface, as well as a simple and clean sans serif.
The color palette is inspired by Slavic culture.
