Maddy’s Parlour for Pooches

What do you get when you put a golden retriever and a French Bulldog in a bathtub?

Bubbles…obviously!

Maddy’s partner approached us to see if we could help to create a logo for her new dog grooming business, as a surprise for her when she completes her dog grooming course. He pretty much left the design up to us, in terms of layout, colours and content, but asked if it would be possible to incorporate their own pet dogs: Boston (retriever) and Bernie (Frenchie)!

We wanted to make this one as welcoming as possible, with a real ‘friendly’ feel - which is why we chose the baby pink and blue to go alongside the playful characters of the dogs. We ‘dug’ around with a few ways of including some bubbles, scissors and - of course - bones, and within a few sessions, we arrived at our final design… a design that I can say is probably the one that I’m most proud of to date!

The client’s needs always come first with ‘mig’… before we move on in and put our own little spin on the creative side of things, and I’d like to think that this works a treat (genuinely, no pun intended there)
