The Mountain Has Moved
Below are selected works from my recent solo exhibition, The Mountain Has Moved, at the Black Iris Gallery in Richmond, VA. The show featured artworks created within a range of media: 11 acrylic works consisting of custom-cut acrylic shapes inlaid into thick acrylic backing sheets and nine screen-printed drawings. This three-year endeavor gave me new insights and skills into further mastering my craftsmanship, as well as working with subcontractors to help produce artworks of gallery-level quality. In addition to the artwork, I designed all promotional material for the event, which included creating a custom typeface that reflected the themes and ideas of the show itself.
