Full Page Modal - Multilingual Translator Announcement Banner

Client Request

Integrate a new translation feature for their existing internal full page announcement modal. The announcement is displayed as a page banner on their RMM Platform.

The Challenge

List english translation plus all 12 additional languages on modal.

Specifications:

1. English is considered the default language and is the reference for the rest of the translations.

2. A list of pre templated announcements as well as create a custom announcement needs to be present.

3. The translations can only be rendered after the user clicks a translate button which triggers and API call that returns a list of translated announcements by language.

4. The banner is required to be translated in 12 languages and be editable.

The Solution

Displaying the announcement list in a dropdown is ideal to save space and allows the client to expand the list without layout changes. The client was confident that wording would be minimal and to the point so as a team we decided to display the 12 translations side by side to save real estate.
