Second Brain is the app that aims to utilize the power of technology we have today to create a second brain for the user and a global brain for the community (The concept of “second brain” is greatly elaborated in this book).

Think of the “commonplace book” that great minds throughout history used to capture their ideas, compile knowledge, and it became the source of their creativity.

This app tends to bypass the “file cabinet” format we see in most tools today and create a “networked thought” which is much more suited for the way our brains work.

In addition to networked information architecture, social networking is also engrained, because collaborative learning is another powerful concept we can leverage.
