Project background

ThaiRun is one of the biggest running race organizers in Thailand. The company is rapidly growing and wanted to redesign the race registration system to simplify user onboarding process without changing the structure of database.

Problems

— The registration process included numerous steps and seemed endless, leading to high drop-off rate.

— Different actions were required for different races, creating inconsistency.

— The form was not globalized. Foreigners had a hard time filling in their address and identification number since the form only accepted national ID numbers.
