Marilyn Tattoo

Working through a tattoo design for my friend, symbolic of her mom who recently passed away.

Marilyn was Canadian, hence the maple-leaf shape.
The leaf is made of three Ms, to subtly hint at her name without being too overt or cheesy.
Colors are vivid and saturated – she was one of the most vibrant and bright people I have known.
And she had a heart of gold.
