New Home for iPhone
My Role
I managed and mentored my 4 interns in the early parts of the process, eventually taking over in the final steps, passing high-fidelity mockups and specs to our development team.
The problem
Many customers who managed to get through sign-up often left after being plopped in our home page. There was too often a "what now?" moment.
The Solution
We created a "home" screen of sorts, including:
- an omnipresent search button that allows customers to drag it to wherever they please,
- a browse menu up top,
- and a series of list "panels" they can swipe through.
This serves as a foundation of customization and also gave the user more clear pathways to navigate through the app.
Upon release we received a 3% increase in our iOS orders.
