07/01/2022 - Tree study

This one is weird. I used a page from a 1913 anatomy book, and tried to make a tree looking thing out of a section of the cerebellum. It was worth a try I suppose.

I again used the True Grit Texture Supply Chromagraph Procreate brushes, paired with some Retro Supply Co. goodness. And textures, of course, textures.

Most shapes are done using the Deutsche Kolorist Toothy brush. There's a light subtle fill in the background of the "tree" using TGTS Speed Fill. The other textures are the RSCo. Grain I and Grain II.

The halftone texture is generated using Procreate's native halftone effects (create a copy of the whole canvas, paste it in a new layer, apply effect, apply adjustments, leverage blending mode and opacity for fine tuning, et voilà, lovely halftone effect).
