Worn out tools...

Periodically, I find myself shying away from various 'simple' tools, like pencil, because I consider it (stupidly) to be of lower value than ink or some full colored illustration work.

There happened to be a standard #2 pencil lying on a table the other day, and a piece of paper, and I found myself cheerfully sinking into a sketch and re-awakening the use of values and faint lines of graphite, etc.

This lead me to...(BAHAHA haha hah, heh - wow sorry #dadestjokeever)...ahem anyway...caused me to reach for my lead holder, which has been gathering dust for ages now.
