Designing a marketplace for Creepy Crypto

We were tasked with creating a gallery level experience for purchasing some of the internets rarest and most intriguing crypto art. Planting a flag in an over-saturated NFT market is a challenge. Taking an already planted flag and moving it to the head of the pack is just as difficult.

We took inspiration from classic art movements (dadaism, expressionism, surrealism, and pop art) and designed a museum quality experience that speaks to the character and history of these unique NFT's. The result was a story driven marketplace that utilizes strong UX and design, and capitalizes on its uniqueness.
