Digital mortgage broker — Pretto x The Design Crew

Pretto is a fully-digital mortgage broker providing a smooth experience when taking out a mortgage.

We've worked hand-in-hand with the Pretto design & eng team to do a comprehensive overhaul of their internal tool. It's used daily for following up on a home buyer's mortgage request and finding them the best rate, negotiating with banks to get a deal.

The new version of the tool is currently being implemented, and we can't wait to hear feedbacks from Pretto employees once they get their hands on it 🔥

Through a 2-month design sprint, we...

• did research & shadowing to get to know how the previous version of the tool was used - and what for.

• listed pain points and new ideas, then prioritised them

• involved the team in ideation workshops

• got started with lo-fi prototyping to decide on an overall concept and validate the ideal high-level architecture based on needs

• and finally got to work on a hi-fi Figma prototype packed with features!
