Problem Overview:

Facebook is a very popular social media platform with more than 2.9 billion monthly users. We use Facebook for sharing photos and posts. We figured out some issues with Facebook photos. It’s very difficult for users to find old photos and albums.

Problem Understanding:

We have tried to understand user pain points and desires, as well as how they feel.

What we found through the user interview:

Pain-points:

• The user spends so much time finding any event photos or multiple photos of the same person.

• It’s always very time-consuming to find a tagged photo of someone.

• Finding multiple images of the same person (tagged photos)

• There are no filtering or grouping options for photos.

User Goals:

• Find old photos easily.

• Search for photos, people, and places.

• manage and organize old photos easily.

• Find old tagged photos quickly.

What's New

• Quick navigation was implemented to improve the user experience.

• We added a custom filter option for finding photos of the Pacific Date.

• We made changes to move photos to the album.

• We included a search function so you can look for individuals and places in photographs.

• On the navigation, we added options for memorization and a timeline.

Usability Testing

After completing the visual design and prototype we run usability testing and gathered actual users' feedback. We highlighted some points.
