Back to Freelancing Avatar

I’m making some minor updates to my personal site and brand. My old avatar is looking a little dated. I made it back in 2012. That feels like a long time ago or is that just me? I wanted something a little more unique and hand-drawn but still have strong vector line characteristics. It’s based off the avatar I sketched for my Rescued series. It seems to work pretty good in some of the instances I need. I also wanted to get a little update going because I’m back into freelance full-time!

My last day at Dropbox was last Friday. I’ve learned a ton, worked with inspiring people, and built some cool stuff. I’m super proud of everything I was part of at Dropbox. Still, I hear the freelance life calling me back. I want to pursue more personal projects, create more art, and spend more time with my family. I will miss everyone a Dropbox a ton but I’m excited for the next adventure! We are still not sure if will will be sticking around San Francisco or moving to Boulder or Portland. Anyone living in Boulder or Portland have any thoughts? Do you like it there?
