Zubtitle Saas Website Redesign
We worked with Zubtitle to launch their new marketing site in Webflow
The team at Zubtitle approached us to redesign and migrate their website from Wordpress, which came with some challenges:
👉 They have a strong focus on SEO, so getting a performant site while keeping their search rankings in place was a must.
👉 They do fantastic blog posts for creators, so we needed to create a beautiful, easy-to-use CMS for their blog. We also needed to plan the migration of 100+ blog posts from their backlog and keep all the links and content in place.
👉 Their app is quite nice to use, and we wanted to showcase it front and center on their marketing materials while making users feel a consistent experience from the site to the app.
Our approach:
As usual, we broke the project down into phases.
First, we planned the migration.
It had to be done with clinical care to ensure that all the key pages, backlinks, and search rankings stayed intact.
Then it was time for wireframing and organizing their content.
For SEO purposes, we kept most of the copy and headings the same, only adding extra content to go deeper into the benefits of using their platform.
Next, we tackled the prototype and UI
Once we were happy with the structure, we redesigned the site from the ground up, putting a strong emphasis on showing the app’s UI in context and all the benefits of its kickass features.
We used their awesome brand identity and expanded upon it to introduce a new call-to-action color that drew the eye to the critical actions on the site to improve their conversion rate.
And finally, it was time to build
We put extra care into performance for this one. Built as many elements as possible in code, used interactions only for small moments of delight and accents but kept them to a minimum to ensure a snappy site, and optimized every element to load fast.
We used Webflow’s CMS capabilities to build a flexible, scalable structure that will allow them to expand on their own and help them build new landing pages quickly without added dev costs.
The result:
A beautiful site and a massive bump in performance.
From a lighthouse score of 68, we’re now at 98, with a 100% A+ score in GTMetrix.
We’ll follow up in a couple of months to see the effect in search rankings, but with the improvements in load speeds and user experience, we’re pretty optimistic about what we’ll see 🙌
We are really proud of how this project turned out. It’s our biggest one to date, and the end product looks and feels amazing.
A huge thanks to Baird Hall, Jay McAliley, and Luke Seavers for trusting us to take on this and being the definition of dream clients!
