Melody recognition for Music Streaming platforms

Hey!

Let me show you my hum/sing recognition feature concept which could make my life easier and happier many times if would exist 😄

Hum recognition gives you the possibility to find music without any special information like an album, artist, or even a piece of lyrics. The only thing that you have to know is a tiny piece of a melody. 

For this purpose, I took a search field and improved it with my feature hidden in an additional button.

When you click the button a unique modal appears and asks you to hum or sing a melody you're looking for.

When you finish your humming sequence, the system is searching for the most relevant piece of the song. It also shows you which part of the song your hum is similar to.

There's a possibility that hummed melody won't be enough to find a piece of art you're looking for because of the number of songs and their similarity.

Optional questionnaires in the middle of the process or right after could help to narrow the result.

Proposal factors: music type, is it lyrics or a melody, times, etc.

For the current design, I took a search bar, but to be honest, it can also work as a separate feature or (the best option) a nice update for Siri x Shazam which I think to design too.
