Access to Product Guidance

Our product is pretty complex and sometimes, our users need to learn a bit more about the technical details so they can set things up optimally. We wanted users to be able to access the content that our compliance experts created to help them.

First time interaction

When a user returns to our product for the first time after this feature is live, the little floating book icon pulses to call their attention in an approachable way.

The little information card automatically opens up so the users can easily learn what the book icon represents.

Return visits

On future visits, the icon will be a static element that the user can click on when they need a refresher.

If there is updated / new content for this section, then the icon will pulse again when the user lands on the page to let them know that there's something new to discover.

Achieving "Joyfully Crafted"

The content of the Knowledge Base as well as the experience accessing it needed to be approachable. We believe we've accomplished that with this design.

The book icon acts as their little helper who lets them know how they can do specific actions and how they can learn more about the topic at hand, which makes the experience more human.
