ScreenRec - Screen Recording Desktop Application

Wanted to do something a bit less serious for once and redesign a desktop application I downloaded called ScreenRec to record my screen. The current version doesn't have a very modern interface and was lacking in usability, but it did let me record in 1080p which is why I downloaded it.

I gave myself a few hours to play around with the visual design, components, and improving upon the information architecture as a design exercise. Here's where I ended up.
