Riverwalk District

The Riverwalk Merchants Association is an energetic group of local business owners that strive to preserve the rich culture and heritage of the city’s most historic district. In the early 1990s, a new business association was formed by the residents and business owners along the newly renovated Riverwalk District.

The Riverwalk Merchants Association holds popular monthly and annual events that help to generate additional funds to continue the revitalization of downtown Reno. The Mission of the Riverwalk Merchants Association is to increase year-round traffic and business for Riverwalk Merchants while creating and nurturing a vibrant and safe downtown district, to celebrate and support Reno’s diversity in the arts, its cultural and historic heritage and contribute to the growth, education, and diversity of vital downtown shopping and entertainment for locals and visitors.

The community of Reno is incredibly proud to be able preserve and celebrate our past’s rich culture and heritage and through the development of the Riverwalk District’s logo, brand, wayfinding signage, event materials and website and we aimed to convey just that.
