The Dreamscape

My new design portfolio is called the Dreamscape.

This site is a culmination of about seven months of work (including lots of breaks). My goal was to build something that would show exactly how my design and engineering skills tie together into something beautiful.

Visually, I chose a bokeh theme because I enjoy photography, and wanted to integrate that hobby into the design. It would also make for stunning abstract backgrounds.

As far as technology, I started with Next.js, and built all of the DOM animations using Framer Motion. I built the mesmerizing background in React Three Fiber, which is procedurally-generated in vertex and fragment shaders. (I recommend Three.js Journey if you're looking to learn 3D rendering on the web.)

The source code is here, if you're interested.

Hope you enjoy. Please spread the word that I'm looking for work!
