Transgender Wonderland Potion Bottle

This illustration was part of a little series that I did for some of my LGBTQ+ friends earlier this year. Each piece of the series was centered around a glass vessel with customized elements to reflect a friend's identity. This transgender pride piece was inspired by my friend Alice, who got her name from Alice in Wonderland. I included card symbols to reflect the Queen of Heart's card guards, an ornate key, a blue rose being painted pink, and the iconic "drink me" potion label. I drew the series on paper using cheap colored pencils and fine liner markers - before I had invested in the high quality supplies I have now!
