Mies Van Der Rohe - Glass Skyscraper 1922

Monday warming up

Over the last vacation, I almost had a chance to visit the Langham hotel in Chicago, designed by one of the most famous modern architects Mies Van Der Rohe. (Unfortunately, he died in 1969 before the construction began) I was excited to be there and bought a book from Taschen to learn more about him, but we canceled our reservation because that was too expensive for us.

Instead of spending $$$$ for a vacation, I sat on a rocking chair in the living room and read a book with having a glass of wine. Mies Van Der Rohe was a different kind of humankind - like this building he designed in "1922."

Thank you for seeing it :)
