Bookend. A calendar extension

I’ve been traveling a lot lately. It’s normally last minute and it’s normally for work, which means I have to balance my travel with my schedule. So when booking travel, I find myself switching between calendar and browser.

It be awesome if I could start the booking process from within my calendar. Basically enter my search parameters inside my calendar and then push to google flights or to an airline booking funnel.

Here is a prototype of how it might work. You start by adding a new event to your personal calendar, if that event starts with “flight to” then the input experience becomes about finding a flight. This could work for anything that requires booking: restaurant reservation, movie tickets, etc…
