Woodpecker. Female.

One day I came to the park and sat on a bench. The spring weather was calm and pleasant. A sprawling tree grew next to the bench. Flowering almond. Petals fell off the tree at the slightest breeze. Suddenly a bird perched on a branch. The color is gray and unremarkable. And suddenly she began to knock loudly and rhythmically on the branch. Basically, male animals have a bright color and are much more beautiful than females. I did not recognize a bird useful for the forest. The female woodpecker was sitting on a tree.
