Soma Venice Logo Idea

We are considering rebranding our church, Soma Venice, because we are going to be sort of relaunching after a season of worshipping together in a public park on Sunday mornings. The Lord has provided us a place inside to gather for worship, and we plan on using this opportunity to encourage our congregation for new energy and relaunching to the neighborhood. We have not been particularly proactive about inviting our neighbors to our Sunday Gatherings because it is a tough thing to worship together in such a public space with so many distractions. Because of the relaunch idea, we are potentially rebranding and connecting our church's identity more closely to the Reformed tradition. We elders have been connecting more and more deeply with this tradition for the past couple of years, and I have been introducing this new design language for almost a year now, but overhauling our complete identity felt like an unnecessary step without a real-life corporate need. We may have that need now, so this may be one lockup in our new identity. I will be posting more of my new designs in the coming days and weeks for feedback if anyone sees these! Let me know what you think! I'll try to include some comparisons with our current identity as well.
