Plantexpand Website

So in July 2014 I was contacted by a local business who wanted to update their website, and have an IT system built to manage their considerable case-load. They had a system and a website, but they were HTML4, table-based and did not convey the information they wanted to get across. These are only shots of the website, which did run over due to a change in design direction (mildly noticable), and I did not source the images (although I helped with some editing, I think you can tell which ones I was involved with).

The system is built on wordpress and is built upon my company base-theme with multi-grid support, slider, google maps (the usual mod-cons). It uses wordpress links to showcase client affiliations with links to client sites, validates as HTML5 (some trickery used), supports JS late loading, custom training courses, testimonials, locations and content area functionality.

Their internal team had very strong feelings towards imagery and opted to source and produce many of the images in-house. I did manage to modernize the logo which the owner did not want touched, get a professional copywriter to produce the content and helped jazz up & / or create a few images, which I think stand out and add a lot of pop to a modern, simple design.

On top of all this the site is responsive and integrates to the system we built. The old site, had 500 from UK, with only 26% bounce rate in the 1st few days, which for a specialist provider of fleet and plant maintainence in UK is amazing. We love working with local businesses, especially ones like PlantExpand Ltd.
