This Is My Body

I was asked if I would be willing to submit a design for the United States for Abortion Design Cohort. Their aim is to fundraise for abortion funds and abortion justice organizations. I chose to create a stylized illustration with custom Typography that formed the shape of a uterus. I made a conscious decision to stay clear of the expected, overly feminine color palette; instead I chose to incorporate energetic, bold colors including green, a color associated with abortion justice. After sketching out my idea, I worked in Illustrator to create a custom font using flat vector shadowing for a modern feel. I then created a minimalistic rendering of a uterus which housed the Typography.
