Jammies 16

It's that time of year again! I've been given the opportunity over the past few years to illustrate posters to promote the Jammies, a local music awards show and showcase put on by our lovely public radio station, WYCE.

It's always a challenge to balance everything with so much information (all the band names, sponsors, etc.), plus this year I was given a font to use specifically as a way to start branding the series (I was not a part of this process, so who knows). I was hesitant at first but I think with a bit of massaging the splattery brush type looks pretty decent.
