Pill Icon

There's nothing really that special about the design of this flat little pill icon except for the story behind it...

My daughter (Cadence, age 6) came in to my office the other day and asked if she could help me. I thought for a second and then handed her my iPad, opened up the Paper app and gave her the Pencil. I told her that I was trying to come up with an icon for 'medications' or something like that and would love to have her help me brainstorm by drawing ideas out. She plopped right down on the floor and about 5 minutes later, showed me this concept, sketched on the little screen. Now, granted, it didn't look JUST like this but the concept was there. She explained how it was a pill with 2 halves and the plus sign in the middle was because there was 'good stuff for your body' inside it. I immediately built it in Illustrator and have been proudly grinning ever since. That's my girl! :)
