Mobile banking - Dashboard

A dashboard for a mobile banking app. Together with the design team we researched our main competitors, analysed their users’ feedback, learned user behaviour.

After we conducted a survey with 30 participants to understand what people need to see first in their mobile banking.

Main points were showing account balance, making a payment and transaction history. We assumed users do not need to have a card visible all the time, so we hid it under a bottomsheet with transactions. Card & card management actions are visible when bottomsheet is swiped down.

Usability testing proved our theory and showed that users interact with it with excitement and ease. Also, testing showed some users expect some additional interactions, e.g. "click on card should make a card visible". We added some changes to the prototype to adjust the behaviour to what users expected.

It was an interesting challenge and we successfully delivered a pleasant experience.
