Acoustic Taishôgoto
Hey there everyone,
In the music video "Aftermath" of 京 - who is one of my fav artists - さんの new side project "Sukekiyo" I recently stumbled upon an electric version of this Japanese instrument, which is also known as "Nagoya Harp". When I first saw it, it reminded my of a mixture of a piano and a guitar, which basically is kinda true. It was introduced in the the early 20th century, back then it was an acoustic version, so I gave this a try.
Currently I also make an electric version, along with "colored" versions of both illustrations.
Attached to the shot you can find a larger version of this shot, which still is not the original size and does not sow all details...
Thank you very much for your attention, have a great sunday and a good start into the new week.
