Visual Reference 2014

This is a culmination of a few creative endeavors I've been trying to surface for a few reasons:

1. Work process transparency
2. Internet/application archival
3. Plain ol' fun
4. Sharing cool-looking things

Enclosed within this .zip file are several folders containing over 300mb of color-coordinated visual inspiration, internet/app screenshooting I've done over the previous year, and snapshots of a few blogs I maintain.

While the content isn't necessarily stuff I'd expect most people to care about, I personally believe it's important as "someone who builds things" to document influences, references, colors, inspirations, textures, etc. — when 'you' are essentially acting as a cultural filter for thousands of other people on a receiving end, who use a product you've created, it's good to keep track of what goes into 'you'.

Unfortunately for me, a lot of the content here is unattributed to their respective creators. I'll be fixing this for future releases.

Hopefully this helps someone out there with something, it's certainly helped me out a bit.
